Samsung prepares to release an update for 5G phones in India

An OTA update will be released for Indian Samsung 5G phones in mid-November, and Apple has confirmed that a similar update will be released in December. The news came after a meeting attended by government executives including India Telecom Secretary and MeitY Secretary.

Last October 1, India announced the official rollout of commercial 5G services. It was announced at the 6th Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) held in New Delhi. Samsung has the widest range of 5G products in India and is working closely with its operator partners to ensure a smooth 5G experience for Indian customers. Currently, Indian mobile 5G network services are provided by two major telecom operators, Airtel and Reliance Jio.

It is said to use a 5000mAh battery and Android 12 system and will be sold at a price of around 10,000 rupees (around 260,000 Myanmar kyats).
