Honor 80 GT, launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and 66W fast charging
For fans of high-end Android phones, Honor has released new options.
The newly announced Honor 80 series by Honor includes the Honor 80 standard model and the Honor 80 Pro as well as the Honor 80 GT. Honor 80 GT comes with the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC as the Pro model, and also includes high-end features.

Display & Camera
The screen size is 6.67 inches with an FHD+ OLED panel and 10-bit color depth. 100% DCI-P3, It has a maximum brightness of 1400 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. The used Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chipset is released in a 256 GB storage version with 12 GB and 16 GB RAM.
What is interesting about the rear camera is that it comes with a rare Sony IMX800 54MP 1/1.49” sensor and f/1.9 aperture. For the ultrawide, there is an f/2.2 8MP camera as well as a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera uses a 16MP camera with f/2.4 aperture.
Battery Capacity, Colors & Prices
Honor 80 GT is powered by a 4800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support, and the software comes with Magic UI 7.0 based on Android 12. Other highlight features include a 4,386 square mm Vapor Chamber and 1,415 tiny copper wires to upgrade the phone’s cooling system. It also includes a 74 mm graphene panel.
The available colors are black, blue, and white. The 12 GB version will be sold at 3,299 yuan and the 16 GB RAM version will be sold at 3,599 yuan.
