Elon Musk said he has done firing staff and is going to hire new people on Twitter

After cutting more than 7,000 employees to just 2,000, Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk said the layoffs are over.

After laying off nearly two-thirds of its 7,500 employees in three weeks, Twitter’s boss said he would be hiring new employees. At a Twitter employee meeting, Elon Musk said the company is hiring for engineering and sales because the company has already cut staff. Some of the records obtained by The Verge show that two of the people who attended the meeting also urged the employees to connect if there are any employees who should be recruited.

Elonmas made this statement on the same day that Twitter’s sales staff were fired. Robin Wheeler, head of Twitter advertising sales; Twitter’s vice president of partnerships, Maggie Maslin Sonnywick, and Sarah Rosen, head of US content partner research, also left their jobs last week.

Almost all the company’s senior leadership lost their jobs after the company was taken over by Elon Musk. Elon Mart said that he would call again, but he did not say what kind of department would be called from the engineering and sales department. There are currently no job postings posted on the company’s website.

Twitter also said that it will stop the $8 per month Blue Subscription system until it can solve the issue of fake accounts and impersonation accounts on the platform.
